Run by Ella May Sahlman, an LA based music supervisor and filmmaker.
Born and raised in New York City, Ella has always been a fan of theater, music and film. She moved to Los Angeles five years ago to become a music supervisor. She is a part of the Guild of Music Supervisors and currently in the Women In Film (WIF) artisan fellowship for music supervision.
At Tulane University in New Orleans, Ella fell deeply in love with the music and culture of the city. It inspired her to use music as a tool for her films.
Music and film has driven her to create meaningful art. Her work explores themes of identity, gender, sexuality and the horrors we experience on a daily basis as women. With 10 shorts under her belt, Ella is at her happiest when she is directing.
